Year 2003 in a Nut Shell

The year has gone by so fast. I can not believe it. I have done so much. On a work note: I have made it in the military for over 12 years. I can not believe it. The time is flying. I have continued with my schooling and even received a certificate saying that I am smart! (Not as smart as Lawson, but smart). Yep we both made it to the Dean's list. We are so excited.

We have taken many trips this year too. We started with a 5 day trip to England. We toured London for two days. Drove to New Castle to see a WWE event in the Arena. Then on the way back drove through Robin Hood country. The kids had an awesome time.

The next trip was a weekend trip to France. We spent 1 full day at Euro Disney and another seeing the sights. It was beautiful, we were only able to get to the 2nd level of the Eifel Tower. The top was closed. The view was breath taking.

From there we toured Bravaria (Garmisch). The southern part of Germany. We stayed in Military Hotel and toured Castle Newschwanstein (the castle Walt Disney copied for Cinderella), Linderhof Castle and also drove through Austria.

For the next trip Lawson stayed home and watch the kids while me and a few girlfrends decided to hit the road to Poland. We all when Pottery shopping. You can't believe how poor Poland is. There money is worth a quarter of ours! I don't know how I did it but I actually came home with money in my purse. The van we rented was packed with pottery and crystal. I am definately going back to finish my collection.

In November Lawson's mom (Trudie) came to visit us. This was her first time ever out of the US. She had a blast, so did the kids. We asked her what she wanted to do while she was here. She said she wanted to see Mickey Mouse. So off to Paris we went again. We spent 3 days in Paris. Two of them at Disney and the other taking another tour of the city. We took a river cruise and passed many monuments; the Eifel Tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre, etc. We also rode on a bus tour that took us to see The Arc too. The trip was awesome. Of coure it ended up with Lawson and I getting lost on the way back home. Paris os only 4 hours away it took us 6 hours to get back. We got lost in Brussels. Can you say Griswalds?
