Updates to the "poetry" and "about me" domains. Nothing major. Just consequences of a conversation I had last night for the poetry. And consequences of some inadequacy for the about me. Uh...I'm really not in a good mood. So don't look for too much to happen here today.

- I can hardly believe it! o_o
The site is coming along nicely! We'll see how long this lasts...hehe. Doode, I've gotten so much done today - I feel really good about the past six hours I've spent in front of this computer screen! o.O And get this - as many times as I've yawned in the past sixty seconds, I don't think I'm done yet!
Let's see - there's a lot more to access now than there was - there are still a few dead links, however. ^^; I'm working on it! There are graphics I need to make and pages to recode and a lot of lyrics that have to be color-matched. But get this - I was piddling around today and I realized how much I dislike this domain name - iluminoso. Ok, to say I dislike it would be lying, but the thing is, I only chose it because I wanted something that would be easier for people to remember (in comparison with some of my other domain names). But, in all honesty, I miss tragic_dreams!!! So guess what? I'm switching back! That means a lapse in all the super-updating I've been doing while I switch everything over. But that also means I get to go back to my *more familiar* email address and those who always knew the site as Tragic Dreams get to clear up their confusion! Yay!
So, there you are with a nice long update where I blabbed about things you probably could care less about! But alas, an update indeed......

So much for that whole "month" thing. This site is nowhere near fully accessible. However, there are several pages that are now available for your viewing pleasure! Check out the lyrics, lyrics archive, and contact pages - as well as the anime and about AyaRei subdomains! wOOt! Now I have to run because I'm already late for work!

- Layout up. I'll start adding content today and hopefully the site will be fully accessible within the next month. :)
Here's the deal: between school, my parents, and my job, I no longer have a lot of time to play around with my webprojects. But I've gotten really excited about this new layout and I hope to take the content farther than any other site I've worked on! ^_~
I've also decided to do different layouts for different subdomains. I've got a lot of ideas for new subdomains, including one for my own, personal information. Yes, that's right. It'll be the first "about the webmistress" inclusion since the days of When Will This War End?! And a whole subdomain?!? Oh yeah, it's gonna be good!

May 20, 2003--8:05 p.m. (central time):: It's been awhile, eh? I've been working my arse off on one of the "big projects" and guess what? It's almost ready to be made public! By the by, I'm referring to the Lacuna Coil artist page. Actually, my term for it is "mini-site." ^_^ There's still quite a bit that can be done, but really there's only one page that I need to code to make it relatively complete.
Other than that, there's really nothing new. I added a link or two and fixed a few codes. I'm off to Governor's School here soon, so this whole thing will be put on hold for a while. Anyway, I think the next step will be some new lyrics for the randoms and maybe a new color scheme. I'm still debating that one...

April 24, 2003--8:01 p.m. (central time):: Ahh, I've been working hard for the past two days. I have finally made two of my projects public. Check out the random lyrics page for links to two artist cd pages! Yay!
Now, on a more serious note. I've noticed that the coding is weird with different computers. I don't know if it's the computers or the browsers or what. All I know is that when I look at the site on my computer at skool, it looks different from when I look at it on my home pc. Also, when I visited my brother in Texas the site looked different on his computer, too. The skool computers use Windows 95, I'm running Windows ME (Millenium Edition), and my brother has Windows XP. So basically...not everyone is getting what I really want the site to look like. Which isn't cool. I put so much time into this damn thing and it isn't even consistent enough to look halfway decent. But I guess there's really nothing I can do about it. Sorry people.
April 5, 2003--7:28 p.m. (central time):: I added some lyrics to one of the artist cd pages and touched up a few lazy attempts at coding. To anyone who visits this thing, please let me know if you ever find any mistakes or broken codes. It may be that the html commands need an alternative for different browsers. That's all for now--I'm too tired to remain seated upright. I've been on a roll though--my anime-focused site is almost ready to be published. ^_^ Don't start looking for it too soon, however. I've been saving the most involved part for last. It's gonna take a while. Anyway, enjoy!

March 28, 2003--4:43 p.m. (central time):: Long time, no news. I've been doing a lot of updating here lately and I must say I'm quite happy with the results. Welcome to Dreams of Darkness new version 2.1! *insert cheering and loud clapping here* It's not very different from 2.0 (hence just a 2.1 instead of 2.5 or 3.0, you know...)--just a few minor things have been added, taken away, or changed. I've worked really hard the past two weeks and this is the first update for the new version. ^_^ Here's a sneak peak at what I'm currently working on:
-More lyrics, including full cd lyrics for some artists
-Local music scene pages (includes a page on Evanescence)
-Lacuna Coil and Blindside artist pages
-New layout and color scheme (definitely not at the top of the list right now...)
So yeah, it's coming. In case you haven't noticed by now, however, it'll be quite a while in coming, haha! I've just been accepted to Governor's School, so that and school combined (not even mentioning anything else) will slow my schedule even more. Enjoy anyway! =)

January 21, 2003--3:07 p.m. (central time):: hmm...bunches of little updates that i won't even mention. think i've found an alternative to the drop down menu problem i've been having. may put it into effect soon. need a break now--all this decision making is stressing me out.
January 19, 2003--5:47 p.m. (central time):: err...happy new year. poetry in the known poets section. working on another big project, along with the one i promised. that's all for now.
