The following people and websites have contributed to Lain...Disconnected in some way:

Graphics Providers

Below are links and descriptions of websites that I used to obtain the graphics that I didn't make myself and well as those that I used to create the graphics I did make. These graphics include fonts, buttons, banners, dividers, avatars, icons, and layouts.

189 : One Eight Nine - this is an anime-based free layout site. All graphics are created by Graham. I was previously using one of his layouts for my anime site.

1001 Free Fonts - this site provides thousands of free, downloadable fonts. I use several in Photoshop to create my graphics.

FlamingText - a really cool site where you can create tons of really cool-looking banners, buttons, and etcetera - *for free!* Definitely worth checking out.

Boy's Wallpaper - I've found some amazing art here - this is a great source for layout images. A must see!

Coding References

Below are links and descriptions of websites that I used while coding my html, css, and javascript.

Dynamic Drive - this site provides free dhtml scripts and components that come in handy when you want to create special effects on your site.

JavaScript Source - a great site for java codes - and it's all free!

General Resources

Below are links and descriptions of websites that I used as general resources - providing both graphics, coding tutorials, and other helpful accessories.

Lissa Explains It All - ok, ignore the whole "html for kids" thing. I use this site often when I need a refresher course in table coding ^^. This is a great site for not only beginners, but seasoned coders. It offers html, css, and javascript help - as well as some nifty color selection tools.

Magitek Designs - definitely one of my favorite sites. I think I use this site almost every time I do anything with my pages. Pange has a great selection of *free* layouts and she also offers tutorials on html, css, div layers and positioning, and more!

Day Dream Graphics - this site offers all kinds of tutorials, including php, css, and photoshop. It also contains the largest collection of free layouts I've ever seen in one place! A great site for anyone with basic site needs.

Misutu - I found my first Lain layout here! This is a really cool site that was created by Sanne. It's been a lot of inspiration to me. Unfortunately, it no longer offers free premade layouts. Here's hoping that Sanne will decide to make it a graphics site again!

Digik - This is where I found my second Lain layout and my previous layout! This site contains quite a collection of free, premade layouts as well as some tutorials. Check it out!

X-Impulse - This is a neat site whose owner is the creator of one of my previous layouts. Go have a look!
