first, nick has a new nickname... fidget bsb. omg, all he did was fidget during the entire taping! it was so cute. he was either talking the ear off of whomever was standing next to him, or spinning the ball on his finger, or shooting (poorly most of the time) or readjusting his mic pack. it was really cute.

nick was the first one out to warm up. we literally had JUST taken our seats when I look over and go, "there he is". the blonde hair flanked by mike (his bodyguard) on one side and a woman on the other side. my guess is that she was his publicist, because at the end of the game he went to leave and she grabbed his arm and pulled him in front of a TV camera. he was like, "wtf? i'm not done yet? i thought i was done!"

there was a group a girls on the far side of the court (the two stands faced one another - we were on the 'on camera' side) and they were standing by the roped off VIP section taking pictures and screaming for them. a few times, he waved and smiled for them. he was really nice. one girl had a sign that said something like, 'nick, you arrest my heart' and he kept looking over at her and laughing. at one point he shook his finger at her, like, 'that's not nice!' she put it away after that! lol

the times he looked REALLY happy were when he, bryan mcfadden and the nba guy (dunno his name... starts with an "s" & is long, though) were playing 3-on-3 with the ball boys (the boys were like 10-12 years old). that was ADORABLE.

although, the dude CANNOT shoot and he refuses to guard anyone, too. those two things don't make him a very good ball player, now do they? he did get his team's first basket. we were screaming so loud, the people around us thought we were nuts. one woman turned around and was like, 'who's that?" we told her and she just looked at us blankly. it was funny.

and i will have everyone know, the only time he had a freakin' towel over his head was DURING the interview he did at half-time with christina milan. he's such a dork!

oh... and he was completely impressed with lisa leslie (WNBA), trying to talk to her during practice and all she was like... 'i'm trying to warm up, you punka@@".

during halftime he did interviews with a couple people on the sidelines. i couldn't see where they were from, though. probably local news, but we got home too late to watch.

and he was TALKING the whole time. during the rap performance (which they taped first, but MTV showed as the halftime entertainment), he and chris were sitting on the floor (cross-legged, he looked like he was in kindergarten... too cute!) just chatting away. chris was using his hands and talking really animatedly. man, to know what they were going on about! and then whoever nick was near, he was just talking their ear off. thinks he misses being with the guys? do they lock him up alone in his room when he's at home? does mike not let him speak? lol!

as evidenced by every other wire image pic of him... there was much lip biting going on during the shooting, too. *sigh* *sigh* *sigh*

oh, and there was a girl when we were going in that had a sign about it being her birthday. when they were leaving mike pointed her out to nick and he went over and touched her hand or something. i didn't see that because i was trying to get close to take a picture and running into the barricade!

our pictures suck, but that didn't stop us from taking 2 1/2 rolls of him on the court! i was pissed we didn't take the binoculars because he was wearing short socks and i got to stare at the tattoos on the legs for 3 hours and still can't tell what the one on is right leg is! looks like a bruise to me! lol!

overall, not a bad way to spend a friday night!

oh... did i mention that they won? ;-)
