Cost:                The Traitor 2 costs nothing to play, but the prize money is real.  The winner of the game will receive the amount of prize money collected in the group pot (up to a maximum of $50).

Game Play:       Every round will take approximately one week to complete.

Tasks:              Each week will consist of 2 or 3 tasks that you must work together as a team to complete.  When a new task is announced it will be posted on the Yahoo! Group message board, along with the time the task starts, the time you have to complete it, and the dollar value the group pot will receive if the challenge is successfully completed.  It is my sole decision whether a task has been successful or not.  Most tasks will be timed.

The Quiz:          At the end of every segment of game play there is a quiz.  The quiz will test you knowledge on the identity of the Traitor. The length will be 10 to 20 questions in length.  You will have 2 days to complete the quiz after I post it.  If you absolutely will not be able to be on the Internet to do the quizzes notify me BEFORE I post it, and I will extend the deadline.

Execution:         The person to score lowest on the quiz will be eliminated from the game.  If there is a tie the person to take longest (latest to send it in) on the quiz will be executed.  After you are executed you may not tell anyone but myself who you thought was Traitor, doing so will ruin the game for the rest.

The Traitor:      The Traitor will be selected by the host.  S/he will attempt to cause disturbance and lower the group pot.

Marks:             Marks will be given for communication to the Host.  In the future there will be a task involving the number of marks each person has.  To earn a mark you simply have to send a chat transcript of a chat you’ve had with another player (or an email you are sending another player) to the game address traitorhost@yahoo.com.  They must have YOUR NAME in the subject line, if they don’t that the email will not be sorted correctly and the mark will not be counted.  The ensuing task could earn you an exemption or bonus money so send them in constantly for a better chance of winning.

The Alien:         Periodically a small picture of an Alien will be hidden somewhere on the Traitor website.  If you find it report to me, and you will find out its value.

The Host:         That’s me (Yahoo! ID slydog1999, traitorhost).  I reserve the right to change or create rules when I see fit and fair, and to remove someone from the game for any reason.

Points               Points can be given as bonus or demerit points.  They are used on the quiz.  If you get a demerit point you will lose marks on the quiz, and the opposite for bonus.  Bonus points will usually have something to do for tasks or hidden tasks.  Demerit points will be handed out for anything the hosts see fit.
