A) The first video was the one where I fell out a window. The record label didn't like this video so that's why the second one was made. I loved the video director who made the second 'Look who's Perfect Now' video. He also directed the 'Dizzy Moon' video. Hay I'd love anyone Who makes me look like a model!! Cheers Toby!!

Q) Recently you appeared in 'Charlie's Angels' with the song 'Another town'. It seems you like to be in soundtracks...

A) We've been very lucky to have so much material in films. It's always a thrill for me because I'm a huge movie fan. It's great hearing my music up on the silver screen!!

Q) How will Gary's absence affect your new album?

A) You'll have to let me know when you hear the new material. One thing I can say is that it won't be so driven by guitars.

Q) Now, your Scottish part has gone. is Transister American or English?

A) Both. I am English, Eric is American. We are both living in California though so we are influenced by the American market.

Q) Are you still calling yourself Transister, can new members join?

A) The jury is still out on that one. We may change the name of the band. We're not auditioning new members at the moment. It'll be just Eric and I.

Q) Did Transonic end?

A) The production team 'Transonic' consisted of Eric Pressly and Gary Clark. They haven't worked together for a while. Gary lives in London and Eric in California so geographically it's a bit of a problem! We've all stayed good friends So I'm sure that they will work together in the future.

Q) How about tour members, who were they, what are they doing now?

A) Sami Tormanin and Jeremy Yeremain who toured with Transister (Drums And Keys) both live out here in L.A. We still love and work with them both. Dermot Lynch is doing the Fun Loving Criminals and Tim Bradshaw who was also on our tour is now working and touring with David Gray.

Q) Why did you wait so much for the second album?

A) Lots of changes with record company's and of course Gary leaving.

Q) Can you give us some cues about the new album, writing and producing
process including lyrics?

A) The new album will be more laid back. It won't be as guitar driven as Gary's no longer around. Lyrically it's more honest /personal.

Q) New sound, technology you use?

A) If anything it is more organic. Not quite as produced.

Q) We found the David Batteau’s songs with you and Eric, what’s the story of these song? Will it be possible to have them as a CD?

A) I did that demo about a year ago. David was trying to get an Indonesian artist to cut the songs so he needed a female vocalist to help him out. I was happy to oblige! Eric's known him for years in fact they were in a band together when they were teenagers!! The tracks were just demo's so SHOULD NOT be for sale. Aside from that little demo we have done some co-writing with David that may show up on the new Transister record. One of my favorite co-write's with David and Eric is 'A Beginning' I think it's good to work with other artists. It's inspiring and good to hear how other people work.

Q) You've been working with an artist called 'Caprice' and now her single is out in England...

A) Her first single 'Once Around The Sun' was released in the U.K on the 26th of Feb. (We'll know the chart position entry this Sunday), Eric produced her album. We also wrote almost all of the songs. It's been a big part of both of our lives over the last year.

Q) As I listened the first single from her raft page, I had a feeling you sing there at the back, am I right?

A) Yes I'm singing backing vocals all over her record along with another singer called 'Bernie Barlow.'

Q) Also Gary appears at the credits, it seems all Transister were there?

A) Gary co-wrote 'It's About Time' and “Dysfunctional Friends' with us. He's also programmed and played guitars on these tracks.

Q) You do so much besides recording new album, what have you been to lately?

A) I recently did the 'Tonight Show with Jay Leno' singing backing vocals for 'Enya.' I'm also singing on a Pepsi commercial that will be airing soon.

Q)That’s great. I have to ask this, what was the last album you bought?

A) Coldplay. I love it. The single 'Yellow' is very inspiring.

Q) And lastly, what are you thinking for long future?

A) I take every day as it comes.

- I forgot to ask : Is that your handwriting lyrics on the official site? Do you keep that original paper*, has it got wine stain :) on it?

- Yep that would be my terrible hand writing I'm surprised anyone can read it! Very likely to be a red wine stain!!

Keely : Did you notice that I signed your guest book on the websight?

- Oh, thank you for that, I was very happy to see it there, thank you..
