TUTORIALS

These tutorials will be mostly on graphics in the beginning. I would dare to say it is not worth making a game if it's not going to have good graphics, because people won't like it. Not being able to draw good gamish screens has prevented me from making an adventure game for a long time. I hope that while I'm making TROIACS you can benefit from these tutorials, and start working on your technique, so that by the time I have a decent working version out you can start making your games!

Tutorial #1: Drawing a background by smudging along contour lines
This is from Todd Zankich. I didn't know how to do painting style backgrounds before seeing this... Any good paint program can be used. You must have a graphics tablet (Wacom brand suggested).

Tutorial #3: Drawing interiors using perspective lines
This is from myself. Use a paint program with layers. Can be done with a mouse or tablet (we're using straight lines everywhere).
