 There is a Zoo safari at La Lajita, a small fishing village - with black sandy beaches, the village is a lovely day out in itself as it is gorgeous. But the Zoo Safari is a brilliant day out too. With over 200 species of birds, monkeys, lizards and crocodiles plus many more.

The island's colourful past can be traced in a variety of ancient buildings, monuments, archaeological sites and museums, these are well worth a visit and are easily accessible on the island.
