The War Between the Angels

There are angels who surround us
To protect us in this life
But there are also angels of darkness
Who bring us chaos and strife

The angels of God constantly try
To show us the right and true way
But the angels of darkness lie and deceive
In the hope that we may all stray

It is a constant battle between good and evil
That has existed since the beginning of time
And Satan's angels never stop trying
To capture your soul and mine

Yes, there is a war between the angels
But have no fear or fright
No matter the problems the angels of darkness may cause
God's angels will help you in the fight

So no matter the problems that come your way
Understand the source of them all
Satan wants so badly to take you from God
But he and his angels will fall!

The Power of Angels

Life on earth is seldom easy
I have known my share of hard times
And from an accident thirteen years ago
I awoke to find myself blind

At first I thought it a cruel act of fate
That I could no longer see
But then I was thankful to still be alive
And that the angels had watched over me

Six months later I found I had cancer
And I wondered if then I would die
The cancer was removed, and it never reoccurred
Thanks to the angels who stood by my side

Twice in my life, I've come close to death
But I have no fear anymore
For I know the angels will watch over me
Along with Jesus Christ our Lord

So no matter what happens to you in this life
Be strong and hold your head high
No matter the obstacle, you can overcome
For the angels will be praying nearby.
