While
the market economy flourishes at an unexpected speed, Chinese
IT industry is undergoing a fundamental change. Chinese governments
and companies have been very active in catching up the IT trends.
Western companies and native companies are fighting fiercely to
seizure the profits. At the center of technology development,
the Chinese high-tech professionals in Silicon Valley could take
the opportunities to make a great impact on Chinese new IT era.
But there are pitfalls and obstacles to moving back to China.
Our impressions of China could be far from the fact. The difficulties
and complexity of running a high-tech business might be beyond
expectation. As a returnee, Dr. Cai has taught MBAs in Peking
University and consulted for several native companies and local
governments. After moving back to China for a year, he will share
his experiences and discoveries, and possibly bring us opportunities.
(Note: the main speech will be delivered in Mandarin).
