Preview of My New Fable Fansite
Welcome to my newly renovated Sims fansite. In the past this site was mainly for The Sims Online, but it grew to cover all the Sim games. This was the reason i decided to redo the site design. I hope you like my site and find it informing.
The sims is the most popular PC game of all time. It sold more then million copies, and has many expansion packs. If that wasn't enough it has gone online, in The Sims Online (TSO) you play a single sim and go to player built properties,and interact with other sims played by real people. Sims has also recently produced a console version of the game. Even though TVs don't have high resolution montiors and internet connection isn't popular Maxis did not let that slow tem down of releasing a great game that pulls the best qualities of the original Sims on your Playstaion2, Gamecube, Xbox, and even Gameboy Advance. Recently Maxis has made an updated The Sims 2 which alows you to build and see your sims in 3D, and do much more that you could never do in previous versions. After seeing how Maxis have came on The Sims seres, it'll be fun to see what they will do next.
Maxis is best known for Sims and Sim City. They have made many simulation games. They were founded in 1987. Will Wright is the main person that is the most well known at Maxis, the first game he released was "Raid on Bungeling Bay" a game where a helicopter attacks islands.
Quick Fact: Maxis is Six am (6:00 a.m.) backwards
The first sucessful game that Maxis released was Sim CIty. Released in 1989, at first sales were sluggish, but will eventually become a top selling game of its time. Several new releases has been made to the game and yet it remains one of the most successful games of all time.
In 1995 Maxis has gone public.
In 1997 Maxis is aquired by Electronic Arts (EA) games. EA games is the #1 selling game company, and with their help Maxis will continue to grow.
