The point is, paranormals affect everything whether
they are committing or preventing crimes or are just breathing air like
you or me. In ’74 Congress passed legislation protecting paranormals
from criminal prosecution if the paranormals in question acted to protect
the community “at large”. While I understand this principle-why try
and stop Glacier if by way of the battle you accidentally trash some guy’s
car and get sued for it-it has simply become a rubber stamp. “Super
heroes” have been witnessed committing gratuitous acts of violence often
exceeding the villains they are fighting, knowing that they are safe because
of a stupid piece of legislation. Why isn’t the legislation repealed
or modified? Why aren’t the authorities keeping a closer eye on what
the paranormals are doing and how? It can’t be because they are afraid
of them, is it? Naaaah.
