Welcome Back to NESpresso, version 3.0! No, you didn't exactly stumble on different site than what you were expecting. Things have changed around here & if you didn't catch my last update, hit the archives! I'm not planning to rewrite the either update, so I'll give you the crash course... The old site (& it's files) has been trashed & replaced with a new one. The site is still operated by the same person & has the same flavor as the old site, it's just that the site has been modified to be a little friendlier to readers. The domain name doesn't work anymore because it expired & I've never paid for it anyways. Those who are wondering why I'm still using Geocities as my host, it's currently the only web space that I have at the moment. I know you have to suffer with those sticky ad windows placed on top of my pages, but the current layout of my site will allow those who are viewing at 1024 x 768 an unobstructed view. It's not much, but at least it's home for me & they'll let me keep the space until I die. I'm still looking for a free website provider has CGI/PERL & SSI support that doesn't charge me for excessive bandwidth usage (I know some website providers do). Until that day comes, you'll find me here & then you'll still see the old shell of the site on Geocities until I screw something up. Site wise, I've made a few more adjustments to the site. The FAQ's have been updated in the Affiliates section. The Affiliates section has been created with a few old sites that I can remember (as well as recovering some graphics from the old pages I had offline). For those who may snoop around my site a little more than others, I've added a "restricted access" page in the sections I don't want anyone to look at, mainly the image & format folders that I have for the site. I still have complete access to the files that are stored there behind the scenes, I just don't want others to have access to them while visiting. If you don't like to wait for me to update my site, I've started up a blogger on Tripod to help convey my thoughts, feelings & anything else that I feel like sharing with the world there. Until I actually move to my site to a provider that allows CGI-PERL & SSI's, so I can install & run Newspro on my site, it'll have to do. For those who are wondering what happened to the "Commercial Ops" in the menu, I gave it the ax. I didn't feel like posting a sign that roughly says "ME FOR SALE" on my site. For those who were on my affiliates list, I'll need your updated information. Please E-mail me at TStodden.geo@yahoo.com with the subject line "New Affliate Data" & I'll try to get you added back to the affiliates link within the next update. Please be sure to include your site's button (see FAQ page for details), your site's name & it's address. I'll send you a copy of my button, currently on display in the newly formed "Affiliates Listings". Cat & Kattixie have reapplied (OK, they really haven't, but I can trust them), so get to it! One thing I should add is that I may have to start a rotation on the affiliates as the listings grow. Don't get upset, it's just that I can't show all the affiliates at once without messing up this page. My ramblings won't be this long all the time! When that time comes, I'll have to put in some javascript to throw in a little rotation into the affiliate listing, but it shouldn't be that hard. I'll try to make it fair for everyone... until money gets involved. I think that's everything for this update of NESpresso.
