Is your mom always doing a million things at once? Make her a cute whimsy for her wall that lets her know that you appreciate how busy she can be at times. Materials Needed: One wooden plaque Several small metal hooks Several small wooden hearts Paint and Stain-Color of your choice Glue Scrap ribbo |
Instructions: Paint or stain the plaque the desired color. Paint the number of small hearts wanted on the plaque red After the hearts have dried, number them in white or black paint After the numbers have dried, glue ribbon to the back of the hearts in a loop for hanging Once the plaque is dry, determine where you want to place the hearts and mark each with a small black dot. Near the top of the plaque, paint in either white or black: Mom is busy, take a number! (Note: Substitute Mom with Grandma if needed) Screw the hooks onto the black dots after the phrase is dry Hang the hearts from the hooks Wrap and give to Mom! |
