The Swamp Critters Band Members

Billy Bob Possum

Billy Bob is a friend to everyone. With his fantastic voice and charming personality, it's not hard for Billy Bob to become a favorite with the crowd. He writes most of the songs that the Swamp Critters sing each night at Big Al's Cafe, where the band performs. As the lead singer and bass player of the Swamp Critters, folks look up to him as he sings his songs of all the critters and the life in Lost Lagoon.

Big Al Gator

Owner of Big Al's Cafe, Al is a big ol' worry wart. He's self conscious about his looks, his cafe, and he's always afraid that somethin' is gonna come after him or go wrong. He should not worry so much. Things usually turn out just fine. Al's specialties are playing piano and accordian and his swamp-famous drinks called "critter-coolers" are always a hit at the cafe.

Ribbit E. Lee

A fine baritone singer and a master at the drums, Ribbit not only performs with the Swamp Critters, he also delivers mail to Lost Lagoon, Foggy Bottom and other surroundin' areas in the Bayou, with his riverboat called The River Queen. Ribbit is a bit of an egomaniac. He can go on for hours and hours, tellin' stories about his adventures on his riverboat and whathaveyou, drivin' critters crazy. Aw, but ol' Ribbit don't mean no harm by it, though.

Joe Racoon

Joe is as laid back as they come. Just don't mistake that for laziness though, as Joe will help critters out when they need it. He's just a little "fraidy-cat" sometimes, that's all. Don't tell him I told you that. Joe believes that he's "tougher than he looks". And he as is cute as can be, if you were to ask my opinion on the matter. Joe is a banjo pickin' fool. He's also rather good with the harmonica.

Gumbo Crab

Gumbo had wanted to be a classical violinist, until the Swamp Critters came along and convinced this cool crustacean of how terrific his fiddlin' was. After all, Gumbo IS a Fiddler Crab! Gumbo's voice may be gruff, but his fiddlin' is the sweetest sound that has ever been heard on the banks of the river in Lost Lagoon.

Ima Dilla

Ima danced onto the stage at Big Al's on the night of the Swamp Critters first performance at the Jambalaya Jubilee and she's been with them ever since. Ima may seem innocent, but if you get her mad, she may serve you up a knuckle sandwich. Especially if she catches any other gal flirtin' or even lookin' at her main crab, Gumbo. Whew, and in that case, it's a good thing too that I only have my sights set on a certain Possum!
