SUBLIMINAL DEFENCE   Victor L.in "A Study in Contemporary Evil" mentions the use of hypnotherapy to provide assistance in creating a first line defence against psychic invasion.   Suggestion therapy can be invaluable in this instance, certainly, but it must be given within the broad framework of hypnotherapeutic planning.   By this I mean that the approach must be but part of a complete session of treatment which should follow the following scheme:-
 
 
1. Induction
2. Progressive Relaxation
3. Deepening
4. Save Haven Meditation 
    (by Guided Visualisation)
5. Ego Enhancement
6. Suggestion Therapy
7. Positive Thinking
8. Anchoring
9. Termination
 
 
Ideally such treatment should be implemented by a clinical hypnotherapist - especially one who is sympathetic to the concept of psychic attack.   For further insight into hypnotherapy per se, one may do no better than read the many works on Medical and Dental Hypnosis.
