Man arrested for violating a protection order and stalking
Rapid City, SD, April 24 - A Rapid City man is in the Pennington County Jail Tuesday night after a tense situation with police. DONALD JONES WAS ARRESTED Tuesday afternoon for stalking and violating a protection order. Jones was taken into custody without incident after the Rapid City police and Pennington County Sheriff's Department surrounded his Bridgewood apartment in southeast Rapid City. Authorities waited for an hour and an half for Mr. Jones to leave his residence before arresting him. Investigators received a tip that Jones was about to leave Rapid City and that led to his arrest.
