Desc.: Naota is the main character of Fooly Cooly. He tries to act mature and tough like an adult. He doesn't like the 'sour stuff' which can be commonly used as a metaphor for growing up, instead he likes the 'sweet stuff' which most people would think that the taste for sweets would be acquired by a child.
Ta-kun, a nickname for Naota, is capable of opening an N-O channel, N-O channels can be used to send objects through space in an instant. It is presumed that the Medical Mechanica plant in Mabase, which looks like a huge iron, is sending robots through Naota's N-O channel. The channel is opened usually when Ta-kun is stressed out or feeling a powerful surge of emotion. Kanchi, also called Kanti, was sent through the N-O channel. Noata eventually confesses his love for Haruko, even though he lost her the one thing she was looking for, Atomsk. (At-um-isk)
