Edinburgh 2000. November 2000. Eleven of us travelled over in extreme comfort (boat a 5:45am and trains to edinburgh, arriving at 17:00!). We played an excellent tournament with everyone improving a lot. We came third overall out of a field of 32 teams. It was an excellent result for an inexperienced team.

Loughborough 2000. December 2000. We were instantly disqualified from this Student Nationals Qualifier due to the fact that we were indeed not English. It's a pity that they didn't realise this until we had travelled for 14 hours on a ferry, five trains and two taxis!!

We played exceptionally well despite "slight" hangovers loser only once out of seven games. We lost to the team that eventually won the tournament, but beat the team that came in second. It's a pity our results didn't stand.
