Themed "Alternatib," the exhibit of the Union of Journalists of the Philippines-UP Diliman in celebration of their 17th anniversary was set up at the skywalk of the College of Mass Communication, UP Diliman.
Journalism Summit is a seminar in campus journalism, where students from different schools are lectured about five types of journalistic work: copyediting, news writing, feature writing, opinion writing and sports writing. Participating schools send selected students to the specific categories they want them lectured on.
This year, the Union of Journalists of the Philippines-UP Diliman co-organized the event with the Pasay Perlas Jaycees and the Pasay Mulawin Junior Jaycees. Accordingly, participants for this year were high school students from various secondary schools in Pasay.
The event was held Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Pasay City North High School and was organized as part of UJP-UP's week-long celebration of it's 17 years of existence. Photos from the event are posted below. (Click to enlarge.)
