Tears Of The Sun. (Watch trailer). Get ready for a rumble in the jungle. An elite special-ops team, lead by Bruce Willis, is secretly dropped into Nigeria to extract a doctor and three missionaries from nasty rebel forces bent on committing ethnic-cleansing atrocities. However, the good doc, Monica Bellucci (and her costarring cleavage), won't leave without the refugees in her care. So Willis bends the rules to get everyone to safety, with the baddies hot on their trail. The dense greenery becomes its own character with the help of grade-A cinematography. The guns are big, as are the explosions, and the statements director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) makes about loyalty, genocide and freedom. Despite a few moments of heavy-handed sentimentality, overall Tears of the Sun shines. ( By Eonline )

Hellboy. Release Date: Unknown (probably March 2004). The new Guillermo del Toro film (also director of Blade and Blade II), is about to start getting filmed. He said the movie is going to be shot in Prague in the Czech Republic and he’ll start in the first quarter of 2003. The Dark Horse Comics character, is about to get in life. The son of Satan and his adventures are already a great theme for controversy by religious circles and not only. I personaly am a comics fan generaly and always welcome every film based on comics characters. I realy liked Blade and I loved Blade II even more. Spiderman was a great surprise too, very faithful to the original comic character and that is what I hope for Hellboy too. Del Toro firmed a 60 million $ contract for this film and he says it is kind of limited thinking about how many monsters and spacial FX are going to be in the movie. But he already made it with Blade. On the other hand as he says, the Hellboy character is not as popular as spiderman, having relatively limited but devoted readers, not forgeting that is an adult book too. Those things are limiting the budget alright, but he made it with Blade didn't he? What I didn't like at all is all the controversy about the negative influence that the character would have and other crap. I think that everything that makes you think a bit is welcome, even if it is controversal. Even better if it is! Should we ban information maybe? It is absolutely stupid fearing a comic character only because of his name! I am looking forward for tha film.. Oh! Bad news..The Blade III sequel has been proposed to Del Toro for the begining of 2003.. Conincidence with the begining of the shooting of the new movie. So no Blade III for now guys. Well we can't have everything.. To Hell..boy! :P

Juwanna Mann the new comedy by Warner Bros. Directed by Jesse Vaughan. Starring Miguel A. Nunez Jr., Vivica A. Fox, Kim Wayans, Tommy Davidson, Kevin Pollak. Internet people don't seem to enjoy the film so much. The yahoo movies users give it a 2/5 .., but it's new so let's say a few words..A basketball player gets thrown out of the league and tries to get in the women's league.. It seems the 'man impersonating a female role' recipe. Take a look at the official site maybe you'll like it. That's all.. haha :-P

The time machine. Now, what about that?! How many times we all wished we had one? Well the hero of this movie does and goes nothing less but 800.000 years to the future! What would he find there? what has the world become to? I'll tell you what he found : He found this comment from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution
: "If only we could go back in time and pretend it was never made....". All the 'Memento' fans would expect something better from Guy Pearce i think. I rest my case..

A beautiful mind. When I went to see the film, since it is a biography of a Nobel price scientist, I was not so sure about it. I had not herd much about the movie and the only thing I knew was its oscar nominations and the lead actor Russell Crowe who is very good at his role. Now I realy enjoyed this film. It is not a simple biography although the complicated life of dr John Forbes Nash, Jr would be enough to keep the story going. But the film makers added a realy exciting part dedicated to dr Nash's hallucinations, that includes spying and government conspirations that added excitment to the story. A positive movie about the strenght of the human mind and most of all, the strenght of love.

Death to Smoochy is a new comedy by the Warner bros movies with Robin Williams. Rainbow Randolph (Robin Williams),the star of a popular children's television show who is fired over a scandal and replaced by Smoochy (Edward Norton), a puffy, Barney-esque fuscia rhinoceros. When Randolph discovers that Smoochy is having an affair with his ex-lover, Nora (Catherine Keener), a top programming executive at the network, he plots his revenge. Well I haven't seen it yet, but that's what Hollywood Reporter says about the movie : "... a loud, ugly, irritating movie without any of its satirical salvos hitting a discernible target." .. Well I like Warner!! I'll see it! :-P

E.T. We all have seen that one no? This great film has his 20th birthday this year. Back in 1982 Steven Spielberg created the most original and friendly extraterrestrial of all ages. Now it comes back with improvements, digital soundtrack, and new scenes using all the technologies that '80s did not offer. There is one thing that is worth saying. Spielberg added a few scenes with E.T. at home with the boy, in order to make more clear the strong friendship between the boy and the extraterrestrial, so the touching scenes that come after that are more involving and strong to the public. Great remake that is always worth seeing again!
