After a two year hiatus, the Economics Club has returned to the Harbor campus. Club organizers applauded the success of the October 2 inaugural meeting, a preliminary step toward formal recognition of the club by the University. Participants included economics concentrators as well as concentrators in the complementary disciplines of management, political science, and psychology. Club advisor David Terkla, who evinced no surprise at the broad-based interest in the club, could have explained it this way:
"It's the economy, student."
