WELCOME to umpyboop's Betty Boop collection
Betty Boop in the Beginning
was always in B&W films
After a few years of stardome and more worldly parts,
the Hays Act forced Betty to "clean up" her act.
She was soon given more "domestic" parts.
She began to be seen more at home. Here she is in the kitchen...
Let's see how she did.....

Betty Boop was created by cartoonist
Grim Natwick of the Max Fleischer Studios, Inc. 1930-1939
Some images have been colorized  in the 60's by unknown sources; all original Boop art was in black & white
Some may be more recent art and not the original art of Natwick; in those cases I am unsure of the artist that drew her
There are many, many, Betty Boop collection sites and I believe It is legal to add the art to your site.
Information within this site was collected from dozens of other Boop fans and literature and may or may not be 100% correct.
