Urutoraman Yoroiden or Ultraman Armour
Legend is apparently the sequel series of the UMSFL Gashapon figures. I don't
know much about the story but I've received information that Yoroiden
picked up where Gekiden left off--the battle against the Emperan. They even had
a little manga of sorts. Ultraman seems to have become Captain of something and
there is some sort of arc that involves Tiga and Zearth as the main characters
in a battle against Dark Benzene. Taking into account Tiga's Glitter Form (in the TV series) and his ancient
status, the Japanese fandom is in general agreement he could have been the very
first Super Fighter. ;)
What about the G Weapons mentioned in the picture? In UMSFL, that would most
probably mean the VTOL G and/or Riser G, robots transformed from the Science
Patrol's Jet VTOL and Ultra Garrison's Magma Riser respectively. There seems to
be more font on top of the title (right of the label), but I can't read it.
With information still scarce ( a Google.com search only
uncovered 3 sites mentioning it), it appears Yoroiden will remain a mystery to
the non toy-collector. How long did the comic run and what did it involve? How
closely is it related to Super Fighter Legend? It all remains to be found out. On the other hand, if you
