    What is an African Renaissance?
You have dedicated your site to making the African Renaissance a reality, and yet you give no definition of what you believe an African renaissance is? I came to your web site thinking that this was going to be explained, but went away disappointed when I didn't find any wholesome definition of the term by you.

Pitfalls of a doctor in Africa
I work in a mission hospital in a village in Kamoto, in the eastern province of Zambia. In your article "I defend Thabo Mbeki", you give little insight of the fact that, even if poverty is an issue, the poor do survive. We get many cases here of people who have ailing health which would not be the case if they could eat better foods. The saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" applies to this case. Without poverty, the situation would be much better, but we are faced with this reality which we have to make the best of. Getting rid of poverty is a long process, and it would be wrong to concentrate on this only and forget that these people can still be helped when they have disease.

   An African revolution is inevitable
I am not happy about the present situation in many African countries. I cannot understand how so many people cannot see how wrong it is. We need to get rid of the colonial heritage in all its forms, before it is too late. Sometime ago I read an article in an African magazine which warned that a revolution, the magnitudes of which this world has never seen before, is unavoidable in Africa. I do believe this. I recognize that this eventuality is gathering pace through the similar kind of tribal wars that take place in many countries, and the kind of articles that Africans are posting today, through the growth of the number of people who have views like you, Mr. Vunda. Stay strong and keep up the good work. Africa is our home, after all.
