My story started way back when I was just a kid, probably around four years old. I lived in karuhatan, Valenzuela, with my mom and my younger brother. I just spend my life playing with my so called FRIENDS (kung sino man kayo noon, I already kalimot your names) and going to school. I took pre-elem. at FEBIAS COLLEGE (malapit lang sa amin, sasakay ka lang ng sidecar). I can still remember, we have this activity called NAP TIME (hindi yon nawawala everyday) well actually I don't sleep I just make noise by snoring very loud and pretend that I am sleeping. Here is the most embarassing story when I am in that school, I've blasted something on my shorts (that's my uniform), do you get what i mean? (sa mga di makarelate ganito lang yon napatae ako sa short ko. Aba ba't ka tumatawa eh bata palang naman ako noon AH!!!) But this is the best, every program, activity, and recognition, I always perform.(Syempre talentado eh hehehe!) I was born to be a performer!(Oh! wag na magcomment!!!) Only a performer but never been a Genius. Every recognition, I only went up to stage to perform but not to claim medals.(ewan ko ba kung bakit hahaha!) Atleast before I leave that stage of my life I got some simple rewards: BEST IN CONDUCT and MOST PUNCTUAL (yung iba di ko na maalala).
Oh grade school, it is just the same thing when I was in pre-elem. There are some slight differences, like the level of the lessons we are taking, the time for playing is reduced and no more nap time. This is the time I gain crushes (hehehe pasaway!!), I can still remember the name of my first crush... She is Maribeth who lived Lourdes Subdivision in San Fernando, Pampanga. Here, I am always belong to the top ten but never been awarded for medals (maybe it was meant to be like that). When I was in grade three I was transfered to Don Bosco Academy in Mabalacat, Pampanga. It is a school exclusive for boys. Same thing happened I partcipated well in school as well as in different school activities and organizations, I also belong to the top ten (again). The following year again I was transfered to Progressive Learning Center about 1 KM and a half from our house. I came there like an alien from outer space (Kasi naman po lahat sila magkakakilala na). This is also the first time I fall in love (kababata bata pa love na agad). She was Trixie Gay Garay, the reigning first honor of that school during our batch. Our friendship started during grade four and bloom when we were in grade five. We both send letter to each other (hahaha parang MU lang pero no relationship).Well it did'nt last that long everything fell down between us when we step grade six. This time I am one of the so-called "champs". I really compete very well, in school discussions, reportings participations and always been a class officer. But time came when I loose the fire in me, I become a mediocre (Actually tinamad na lang ako). So I ended up just a member of the top ten no more no less!!! This story is about how I face the usual thing that happens once in a lifetime of a man... CIRCUMCISION During grade school it is already a big issue for us boys who were already circumcised. That time I am belong to the denial group (hahaha kasi di pa ako natutulian noon). After graduation I was registered for the Oplan Tule of the barangay. I was schduled to undergo that opertion few days before the Fiesta. On the day of my so-called "pagbibinyag", I felt nothing, I am not nervous nor excited. While laying on the bed I had a chit-chat with the nurse operating my ______. Take note, she is a lady, a beautiful lady. I ask her how many stiches she did on my ____. She told me about six stiches and she also told me that it will take 1 week for it to heal. I went home as if nothing happened. At last I am not a kid anymore I already have my _______ upgraded!!!
After garduation I am already preparing myself for High School. I always ask myself how High School Life differs from elementary. And I answered my questions when the class started already. I realized that it is much difficult and it gives a lot of pressure to students. This is also the time that I learn to know myself much deeper. I join the Boys Scout of the PhilippineS during 1st year. Through the activities like camping tough trainings and different challenges I learn that I am a competitive person as well as I can do anything as long as I will dedicate myself to it.
During 2nd year I was transferred to another school which became a difficult part for me. Coz again i have to adapt and adjust myself to the environment. But this event boost up the traits I gain during 1st year. I excel in theater arts field. I experienced to perform a small skit in different classes. The best is when I become one of the performers that staged in the Convention Center in Pampanga watched by 8,000 students from morning till afternoon. At the same time I undergo training in Cadet Officers Leadership Training. I am Cadet Major Marc Anthony Chan, designation Delta Batallion Commander. We also compete in drama competition of the novel Noli me Tangere. Unfortunately we gain the 2nd place. BUt atlist we received a special award "Best Play wright". And before I leave High School life, I've directed third year students who joined the same competition we joined a year ago. It is a wondeful event of my life where in I learn to survive even though I am in the midst of suffering. What's that suffering? SECRET!!! Ask me if you want to know. (as if naman sasabihin ko ang mga detalye heheheh) |
