For My Best Friend

This is for you, my best friend,
the one person i can tell my soul too
Who can relate to me like no other
Who I can laugh with to no extents,
Who I can cry too when times are tough,
Who can help me with the problems of my life.

Never have you turned your back on me
Or told me I wasnt good enough
Or let me down
I don't think you know what that means to me
You have went through so much pain and you still have time
For me.
And I love you for listening even when inside YOU are dying
And I look up too you because you are strong,
and caring
and beautiful.
Even though you don't think you are.

And I hope you know that I am always here
To listen to you laugh and cry and help
In all the ways that i can
And I will try to be at least half the friend you are
To me.

I hope you know I would not be the person I am today, with out you.
My best friend.

My Mood Is like a Cloudy Noon
By Paul Limpiada

My mood is like a cloudy noon
Waiting for the sun,
Or like a sailing ship that can't Set sail without the tide.
I fidget in my emptiness,
Not knowing where to run;
Yet when you're near I can't explain What's going on inside.
It's too bad feelings swim so deep,
Too deep for anyone
To grasp them as they squiggle through
And take them for a ride.

Like A Dream     by Ryan Hull

Here I sit, thinking only of you
Wondering what is to become of us
Understanding all you have been through
Hoping to slowly gain your trust
My heart aches for you, and also I yearn
I want to understand you
In hopes that I will learn
Your unique and special qualities amaze me
Your smile
Your mind
Your voice and its beautiful sound
Your eyes
Your hair
Your ability to cheer me up
When you see that I am down
My feelings for you go beyond that of words
And at first it didn't seem real
But that just taught me a lesson
In doubting what I feel
It seems I dreamed you into life
And the reason or my stare
The bluest sky The deepest sea
Don't even compare yourself,
you're so very special in every single way
And thoughts of you
Run through my head every hour of the day
I hope that you will understand
Just how I feel about you
I want to be your guiding hand
For all that you go through

GOD WIN, GOD WIN!!
Poem by Bento Leal

When I think of God
And all the troubles
He's been in,
I just want to tell Him,
“Win, God, Win!"

Though there's still much darkness
Throughout the land,
And He wonders about His Heavenly Plan
I just have to shout out,
"Win, God, Win!"

And when He looks
Down from on high,
And wonders if there's anyone,
On whom He can rely,
I simply point to the man
Who’ll make Him grin,
And say,
"There he is, Lord,
Godwin, Godwin!"

With such a son,
To dry His tears,
And quench His thirst,
And allay His fears,
A smile breaks
Upon His face
And gives Him hope
About this place.

"Yes, you're right," He says with a grin, "I have my dear son, God win, God win!”

TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR STRESS FREE PROGRAMMING

  1. Thou shalt not worry about bugs.
Bugs in your software are actually special features.
  2. Thou shalt not fix abort conditions.
Your user has a better chance of winning state lottery than getting the same abort again.
  3. Thou shalt not handle errors.
Error handling was meant for error prone people, neither you nor your users are error prone.
  4. Thou shalt not restrict users.
Don not do any editing, let the user input anything, anywhere and anytime. That is being user-friendly.
  5. Thou shalt not optimize.
Your users are very thankful to get the information, they do not worry about speed and efficiency.
  6. Thou shalt not provide help.
If your users cannot figure out themselves how to use your software, then they are too dumb to deserve the benefits of your software anyway.
  7. Thou shalt not document.
Documentation only comes in handy for making future modifications. You make the software perfect the first time, it will never need modifications.
  8. Thou shalt not hurry.
Only the CUTE and the MIGHTY get the program by deadline.
  9. Thou shalt not revise.
Your interpretation of specs was right, you know the user's requirements better than them.
  10. THOU SHALL NOT SHARE.
If other PROGRAMMERS needed some of your code, they should have written it THEMSELVES.
