NAVIGATE YOUR WAY THROUGH TERROR!
Although corny, this film is a well done gem of terror and things rising from their graves. Don't let my animated graphic to the left fool you, this animation is of a zombie not in the movie. The movie has well done make up for its time, but not like your probably used to.
This movie is well done and generally frightening, that is to those who thought Blair Witch was horrifying. Well, there is not much to say about this grotesque film except that I loved it. The film had a darkly gothic appeal, and a corpse and cannibalism scene to match. No, this film is not really violent, as a matter of fact its PG and in the cannibalism, their eating chicken.
The acting is not very good, but the lighting and brief make up effects make up for it. It's an interesting mix of grotesque black and white film making. Put simply, the whole movie just looks dark and nightmarish. The movie is like watching a nightmare: a man and a woman go to a graveyard. The woman is very scared, and her husband's taunts don't improve the situation. Soon, the man is killed by a mysterious shadowy man. Then, the woman finds shelter in a house, where an army of zombies surrounds the house and the woman also meets a number of other survivors, for she soon learns that these attacks from the undead are happening all over the country.
I give this film 2.95 out of 4 stars. I gave the film that many stars because I didn't want to give the film 3 stars, but I liked the film and it didn't deserve 4 stars. So it's almost 3 stars: 2.95 stars.
