We didn't have a hoster for DMW and the Leipertz didn't know if they would have a server at all. In the end they did, and we went to it. But unfortunately Leipertz couldn't get DMW started so we all went to the UC War Server and begged for Opa to start up the Server Scanner. He did UC lost the bash fight and the Leipertz chose Allies to begin with. I made some restarts, but Pluisje's game crashed because I made them too fast. Leipertz inmediatly claimed a victory over that round, but we managed to talk them into another restart. They agreed. The first defending round worked out fine, with only sniper MW getting killed by an excellent fired bullet from sOMBOng's BAR. Luckily, he was the only one firing a successful shot lol. The next round already was a close one, with only Scor and Goat left facing 4 others. Goat killed 3 and Scorsese shot down one in the bushes. Only Goat died in the third round, and MW did some nice sniping in combat: he shot 3 enemies down within 20 seconds. However, Leipertz increased their attacking power and managed to whipe us out the next round. We got a grip of ourselves though, and with an almost WTK from Scor (4), we killed them all. Again, only sOMBOng made a kill In the sixth round, TbH joined our team! But we didn't mind and made a restart. Well, if you looked at it from a unsportive point of view, that was a stupid decision. MW failed in killing the final 2 enemies -he already made 3 kills and the rest of UC had been slaughtered without making one. We won the final round, but had to win some more on Allied side in order to keep the score even. We made a nice rush during the first round an won it. It would be an easy job scaring the Leipertz off we thought. After all, we almost made a draw against BEWARE, so this clan shouldn't be a problem. Well they did became some of a problem, but our teamwork was the real pain in the a**! Our attacks didn't go well at all, while the Leipertz stayed calm and camped themselves a way through the rest of the rounds. Kills: Carl 15 Goat 10 MW 9 Scor 7 Pluis 5 -------------- Sombong 17 Nuclear 9 Vixen 8 TbH/Active 7 Razorsharp 6 Well, we had to stay alive quite some rounds in order to win the war, and that would be difficult enough in a map like V2. But we won the second bash so the moral did rize a bit! But after 2 restarts MW's game crashed and he left the server with 999. The big problem was that our DMW host had to leave and shut his computer down. No one was being scanned anymore, and the members of Leipertz didn't trust us and said MW was probably installing some haxx. That pissed us (well at least me) off, because we'd never cheated and Leipertz had no proof whatsoever (we couldn't play on their server either because of DMW problems). But apperantly not all Leipertz wanted to cancel the match nor claim a forfeit win, since the war was going well, sportmanshipwise. We won the first round (inspite of Goat who throwed a nade in his face) and made a giant rush in the second. But the Leipertz regrouped after the discovered what kind of mayhem we were creating @ the squae, and they impressively saved the round. The rest of the rounds were pretty miserable too. Goat ate another nade, and every move we made was cut off by the smartly camping Leipertz guys. A typical example of the Leipertz outsmarting us time after time: MW and Goatrider were preparing for a rush to the Flagroom. Goat got killed, but MW killed the enemy. He then had to evade a grenade which was throwed in through the middle door, but he walked with his pelvis into the pointy end of an StG with a Leipert attached to it! In the final round, Pluisje showed what he was worth by killing 3 enemies, but it could help anymore. We got owned. When playing Allies, sOMBOng again took point, killed 3 of us and lead his members to victory. Scor saved the second round by taking out 3 guys, and we kept on winning. Pluisje made some nice moves and took out 3 enemies in the fifth. But Leipertz came back and won the last two rounds (with almost WTK's by RaZoRsHaRp and TbH aka AcT!v3) Kills: Scor 13 Pluisje 11 MW 10 Carl 10 Goat 6 ----------- Razorsharp 15 Sombong 13 TbH/Active 13 Vixen 9 Nuclear 9 We hope that Leipertz think better of us after the played V2 with no DMW. I think it was obvious MW nor the rest of UC cheated during the second half of the match. It was equally obvious that we sucked in V2. I'm glad the war went well in spite of all the problems that occured. And I think the frag list once again shows I'm not fitted to play in V2 LOL! I hate all those doors and grenade backbouncing scaffoldings. At least you can rush to doorless buildings in The Hunt! De laatste 2 rondes zijn niet gespeeld omdat de beide leden van xm3ss de server voortijdig verlieten. We kwamen alle4 de server op, maar Stefans muis scheed ermee uit, dus ging hij die ff fixen. B00n Steve-O begon al meteen te zeuren dat we op moesten schieten omdat hij niet heel de dag de tijd had (een uitlooptijd van 10min is toegestaan dus stfu Steve-Ownt). We besloten er maar niet op te wijzen dat zij bijna een no-show hadden omdat hun leden zonodig moesten leren voor herexamens. Na zijn laatste opmerking ("praatjes vullen geen gaatjes" en Goat's diss ("jij kan dalijk kogelgaatjes in je kop vullen" begon de match dan toch. In de eerste ronde begon Steve-O te zeiken over een nade van MW die "precies daar" op de plek kwam waar hij zat. Allicht, UC-leden gooien niet zonder reden een nade (op iemand als Evilpoop na dan), en MW had hem horen springen. Enfin, na een krappe Axis overwinning (Goat 5 en MW 4 kills) switchten we van teams. We rushten behoorlijk, omdat de vijand toch geen sniper had. Na een paar "sures" aan 3xm3ss' kant, wonnen we opnieuw met 4-3. Niet echt een score waarbij "sure" gezegd kan worden, naar wij dachten. Met een voorsprong van 2 rondes gingen we naar V2. MW werd snel gekilld, maar Goat kon de killer bij toeval neerknallen. Hij misleidde de CR-camper door op het uitschotje naast de railing voor de CR te springen. De arme kerstknul dacht dat Goat naar beneden gesprongen was en gluurde over het randje: recht in de loop van een BAR. Helaas waren deze ownage-momenten schaars en we verloren met 3-4 (niettemin al gewonnen met 11-10). 3xm3ss noobism werd voortgezet aan Allies-kant. MW op de railing en Goat achter de CR killden ze beiden toen ze vol in de middelste deuropening stonden te smeken om een paar welgemikte ubermenschkogels. In de 2e ronde moest Steve zonder zn maat verder die al vroeg gekilld was door MW. De twee UC'ers campten nu achterin: Goat achter de deur achter de CR, en MW á la clip in de deuropening van de CR. Steve was zo achterlijk om de deur voor de CR te openen, zodat hij twee nades kon happen. "Ja hoor!" waren zijn laatste woorden. "Lack of basic knowledge 2 lose", dachten wij. Maar het werd nog leuker. Steve de oppernoob rende in een ronde uit de middelste deur, waar Goat zat te campen. Hij opende het vuur, miste, en Goat killde hem op zijn beurt. Zijn commentaar? "Sure, ik raak je". Ja, en Goat heeft 100hp omdat ie God mode aanheeft . De keiharde Axisownage werd Stoned blijkbaar te veel en hij verliet de server in de 5e ronde. Steve volgde in de 6e, nadat hij ons 'de tip' had gegeven om nooit zonder DMW te spelen. Misschien moeten zij dat ook maar niet meer doen, want dat zou hen een aanval van sure-type-RSI besparen. Hopelijk accepteert de EAU Tournament-leiding de score en kunnen we door naar de volgende ronde. Tactics 2 win, but at least we could decrease your amount of points by rushing lol! We won the bash easily, but were defeated by EX quite easily in The Hunt. They all seemed to have excellent spawns and rushed right over to the houses in front of the map. Their grenades cleaned up the rest. Only in the sixth round it became thrilling, with Carlito facing Freelancer (who had 43hp). But smart as he was, Freelancer made sure Carlito would cross the open fields, so he could snipe a whole in his neck. But our defending was at least as good as theirs. It even came down to any 1on1 fights. Scorsese was in top condition and sniped down a dozen EX guys, and our teamwork was excellent. The total amount of kills on EX's side was 5, ours was 9. Kills: Scor 14 (0 on Allied side!) Carl 12 Mannetj# 8 Goat 3 (0 on Allied side!) ----------------------------------- Mad@ 11 Cortex 10 Freelancer 8 (0 on Allied side!) De Spion 3 (0 on Allied side!) Thus, the score @ The Bridge would be the decisive one. We couldn't pull anything off in the first two rounds, but Goatrider managed to stay alive in the third one. He walked over the bridge and saw Cortex wandering around in the water. But instead of walking behind him and finish him off with one bullet, Goat decided to run around and spray. Cortex didn't have too much trouble killing him. But in the fourth round, Scorsese showed how it's being done by calmly snipe Cortex down. The final three rounds, it was always 2 against 1, and we lost them all. So 13 points for EX already, and they persisted in their way to victory. After winning the first two round, they could lay back and sleep through the final five. We began rushing since we already lost the match, and won two more rounds. DLA wanted to play with 6 players from the start, so off we went. Bash 2 win. MW clubbed 4 guys, the brains of the other 2 DLA dudes were smashed also. We chose Allies to begin with. The first round didn't actually went that bad. It looked like DLA had a lot of church spawns and we could progress through the map quite a bit. But eventually they got us at the end of the forest. We got owned in the second round. The Axis nades were flying everywhere and in the end only Scorsese was left with his sniper hiding in the first ruins. He managed to snipe down two silly rushers, but got killed trying to proceed to the second ruins. JoG had some nice moments and killed 4 Unnamed Soldiers. We all got a SMG in the third round and tried to rush through the forest this time, but we got blocked by the rain of bullets from RahZel, he took out FIVE of our guys! The fourth round should've been won by us. But after some noobing in the forest only Carlito was left. He could kill 3 out of 5 enemies, but died in the end. And well, let's forget about the last three rounds . Excellent defending 2 win. But we did really well playing Axis, too. A few members rushed a bit and camped at places close to the Allied spawnpoint. Scorsese sniped like a madman (3 kills in third round, 3 kills in fourth). The rest defended the road and ruins. MW and I got the chance to camp in the Bathtub house a few times. And a lot of kills were made by throwing grenades this time. Three of the DLA guys didn't even get 1 kill. Everyone did a nice job, and Carlito made 3 kills in the final round to get on top of the kill list :P. I don't know about the rest, but I was getting a little nervous because our Axis defending doesn't always work out well. I was glad that we started on the defending team, so we'd know wether we had to work hard as Allies or not. But the teamwork went rather well for a change. I won't tell anything about our tactics, but we just managed to hold those DLA guys off most of the time. It already became a close call in the first round with only 2 of our guys remaining, but Underworld's grenade finished the job. We even lost the second round, due to Phili's ownage. We came back the third round with Kampeergast killing 2 enemies, and Carlito and Goat facing the last enemy. Carl finished him @ the CR, and put his score up to 4. In the fourth round, again Carlito and Goat were left against 1 DLA shabba. But none of three died, because Lady Thunder ran out of time lol! Oky, camp 2 win but hey: war is hell! Underworld made 3 kills in the fifth round, and in the sixth round again Carlito and Goat were left alive. Luckily Carlito was the last man RahZel encountered, because Goat would probably have screwed it all up ! Our cool frog (koele kikker? :S) Kampeergast - formerly known as Metal Opa previously known as Opa Murphy AKA Dropkick Murphy, after changing his name into Yggdrasil before he called himself Freya - faced TeRRoR DaVe in a 1on1 ending. But Dave terrorized our paps in front of the CR. In the second round we did a WTR (whole team rush) and overran our opponent. Ofcourse, Goat was killed after he made 1 kill, but the rest kept on attacking. Credit for MW here: he made 1 kill but was hit pretty bad himself, too. With 4hp he climbed up the ladder to the CR, jumped in, activated the bomb and killed the camper behind him. Nice backing of Underworld, he killed 2 as well. We made too many mistakes in the third round and lost it. We had to win another round, because with a draw we would still lose points. With that in mind, we tried to proceed to the CR as fast as we could. Goat rushed through the FR (RR) and killed the 2 campers in there. All his teammates but Kampeergast were killed, but they did such a good job that only one soldier of DLA was left. But he found his leg blown off by Goatrider and we won the match. The DLA won all following rounds convincingly, but it was already too late for them. Didn't expect Scor wouldn't own as much as the rest of UC did :P. In V2, DLA made even more kills than UC! But it wouldn't have felt as good if we hadn't an opponent as sportive as DLA. An excellent clan, they lost with a difference of only 1 round. They arranged this whole match in 1 day; with a nice server with DMW and not too much lag. It wasn't a problem when we asked them to play a 6on6 because Kampeergast just arrived. Too bad they didn't win (not). Cya all in a rematch! The only way to defeat DfA though is to follow the UC-strategy in V2. Oterhwise, you will get owned if those DfA guys are in good shape.
