Current issues and views
The Government of Rattanjeetland has always been forthcoming on its views and ideals in the way towards modern democracy. In the past however, this view was often clouded by misperceptions by other nations who assumed Rattanjeetland's violent nature without the cause.
As such Rattanjeetland wishes to make its views strong and clear. First, it is our goal to increase trade and economic ties with ALL nations in as soon as a time frame as possible. Second, Rattanjeetland will continue to support DEMOCRATIC initiatives, specifically through an increased use of Congressional Parliment, to facilitate cooperation and prosperity for all nations. Thirdly, we recognize a country's right to self-determination, and the right of a country to protect THEMSELF when they are in danger.
However there is a limit to the requirement of a military apparatus in a country. No country should be allowed to have a military that is designed more for the purpose of intimidation and control of others, but only to the limit of protection of themselves and their closest allies.
The Government of Rattanjeetland will forever champion these ideals and views for all, and hopes that other nations too will accept this.
