Mayor Has Good News for One GI

MAYOR COSTELLOS efforts was a tracer of ‘lost’ persons met with little success.

Wednesday the mayor received a letter from a girl in Toulouse, France, asking him to locate a Syracus soldier and inform him that he is the father of a son born in January.

The name she gave in the letter is not listed in the directory. The mayor has been unable to locate the soldier under various variations of spelling on the name.
