Last War Bride At Home in Massena
MASSENA -- Mrs. Stanley Kocienski, believed to be the last war bride of a Massena veteran, has arrived here.
Mrs. Koclenski, the former Miss Christine Nunn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Nunn, Kentish Town, London, served as a civilian stenographer for a major in the United States Army Signal Corps. They were married Jan. 12, 1946.
Mr. Kocienski was born in Hartford, Conn. And came to Massena with his parent about 1926. He attended local schools, worked at the aluminum plant and enlisted in the Army Nove. 4, 1942. He is now discharged and has resumed his work at the aluminum plant.
They are making their home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kocienski, 71 Sycamore st.
