Tues. 3/16/04: Month 5 post-accutane

This past Saturday, I had my first glycolic peel. Not bad. So far, no peeling yet. I told the esthetician that I had accutane 5 months ago and she only left the acid on for like 3 minutes. We used 30% glycolic acid. Afterwards, she applied 2 masks on me. Not bad. Not bad. I'll be back in 3 weeks for my second peel. She said that I might need 10 peels before all the redness leaves. That's fine, because it's still cheaper than 2 of my non-ablative laser treatments. (I wish I never did that waste of time treatment. Damn my moronic dermo.)

I got zits!! That's right. ZITS!!! I got this one zit on my forehead for a pretty long while. Must be coming up a week...I haven't have a zit that lasted this long for a few months. Then, I broke out about 2 days ago on my upper lip and my left eye brow and yesterday, a small one on my right cheek. What's going on????? I'm not happy about this at all.

So, I'm changing my regime a bit. I'm going to use Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera 100% gel in place of the Vita K creme.

So, here's my regimen:

Morning:
1. Wash with Triaz
2. Lotion with Purpose SPF 15
3. Makeup (Sheer Cover)

Night:
1. Take off Makeup with L'oreal Makeup Remover
2. Wash with Triaz
3. Apply Aloe Vera gel
4. Take Vitamin C (500mg) and E (400iu)

My hair is looking good. Just waiting for all the baby hair to grow out. I look like I got bits of bangs now.

This might be debateable, but I think the Vita K creme made my pores smaller. Cool? Not completely sure since I never actually "measured" my pore sizes, but it just look a bit smaller.

Ok, we'll see what happens next month. 6 months post-accutane seems to be the point where most relapse occur (if any), so I'm going to be even more nice to my skin now. =)
