Recent information published in The Essex Genealogist, May 1997, by D.S. Kenney, and again in the April 2001 NEHGS Register, show good evidence that Martha Cleaves, wife of William Cleaves, was the daughter of Rice and Elnor Edwards, not the daughter of Giles Corey!!! (Though the fact that William Cleaves second wife WAS a daughter of Giles Corey is not in dispute)
