POLICE TRAINING VIDEOS

Police Unarmed Defense School (PUDS)

The PUDS training has been designed through implementation of Force/Levels of Resistance Matrix using passive and active physical measures handling unarmed assailants. These applications use non-lethal methods of deflection, redirection and aggressive restraint to subdue or neutralize an opponent.

 

Police Tactical Assailant Control (PTAC)

The PTAC training is designed for assailant control through physical leverage, joint control and manipulation, nerve center controls and through locking and pressure control techniques to bring the assailant into a position where they can be handcuffed without physical harm to the arresting officer.

Police Unarmed Tactical Team School (PUTTS)

The PUTTS training is to teach officers how to work in pairs to control singular or multiple assailants through physical leverage, joint control and manipulation, nerve center controls and through locking and pressure control techniques without weapons or Oleoresin Capsicum use.

Unarmed Force Education Deployment (UFED)

The UFED program is designed to teach officers areas of person body deployment and positioning to handle an unarmed adversary. The officer uses physical leverage, joint control and manipulation, nerve center controls and through locking and pressure control techniques without weapons or Oleoresin Capsicum use. 

Armed Force Education Deployment (AFED)

The AFED program is the most useful field and classroom area of officer training and can make the difference in life and death situation for the officer in defense of her/his life. The use these techniques are for deflection, redirection, grappling, twisting breaks, locks, removal and maiming applications.

Advanced Combative Training (ACT)

The ACT program is a continuing education program designed for intermediate and advanced physical unarmed and armed Combative training against adversaries using only empty handed techniques such as strikes, blocks, kicks, takedowns and throws to render the opponent unable to respond.

The armed tactical training teaches an officer defensive tactics against a variety of weapons – bludgeons, edged weapons, guns and knives as well as to deflect, re-direct and deploy methods of unarmed combat and use of said weapons in defense of her/his life. The techniques taught teach the officer how to retain and remove the adversary’s weapons.

Mountain Bike Patrol Officer Training (MBPOT)

The MBPOT program is designed to teach mounted bicycle patrol officers defensive riding techniques, use of a bike lock and bicycle as defensive weapons for personal protection and to aid in the apprehension and/or stopping an adversary.

Civilian Assistance Patrol and Civilian Operational Management (CAPCOM)

The CAPCOM program is designed specifically to assist unarmed civilian volunteer officers with the rules of managing and dealing with physical engagements with a subject.  To sufficiently address the situation, gain control until a certified officer arrives and assist in the arrest process as a witness against their assailant. A CAPCOM trained person better understands and is [prepared to deal with verbal resistance, low level physical confrontation and resistance, and to assist a certified officer in whatever areas may be required.

MARTIAL ARTS VIDEOS

Karate Basics – Stretches & Calisthenics – This video shows a series of scientific stretches and basic calisthenics to warm up, stretch and aid the practitioner against injury.

Karate Basics – Stances – This shows the practitioner the twelve basic stances used in the martial arts.

Karate Basics – Punches & Strikes – This video shows empty hand application against an opponent using basic striking methods, punches and grasping methods.

Karate Basics – Blocks – This video shows defensive postures against an attacker using blocks against punches, strikes and kicks.

Karate Basics – Kicks – This video demonstrates the proper application speed and impact points of basics kicks.

               

MARTIAL ARTS WEAPONS

Cane - Defensive & Offensive Techniques – The cane is one of the oldest and certainly the most legal weapon a person can carry. We show the applications for defense and offense using empty hand methods and applications against weapons.

Yawara – Defensive & Offensive Techniques - The yawara is an ancient hand held weapon that can incapacitate or kill in the hands of a skilled practitioner. We have shown basic non-lethal defensive and offensive applications.

Jo – Defensive & Offensive Techniques – The short staff has a history of being one of the most powerful and flexible means of defense and offense. We have taken the jo and demonstrate defense against an empty handed attacker and then use ancient and modern weapons and demonstrate defensive moves. The methods of offense using the jo include takedowns, throws and breaks and strikes totally disabling the opponent.

Sword and Empty Hand Defense – The Japanese Samurai Sword is a weapon of elegance and beauty but when wielded by an expert becomes of a weapon of immense power. WE have shown combative applications against opponents using the sword in defense and then the Bunkai (empty hand application) as a follow-up.

GUN & KNIFE

Basic Knife – This video shows the practitioner the methods of handling an edged weapon and the defensive and offensive methods of personal knife application.

Advanced Knife - This video shows the practitioner the advanced methods of handling an edged weapon and the defensive and offensive methods of defensive personal knife application and weapon retention.

Basic Gun - This video shows the practitioner the methods of handling a gun and the defensive and offensive methods of personal protection.

Advanced Gun - This video shows the practitioner the advanced methods of handling an attack against a gun and the defensive and offensive methods of personal defense and weapon retention.

BICYCLING DEFENSE VIDEOS

Defensive Riding Techniques – This video demonstrates defensive riding methods in using and riding a mountain bike. It includes roadway and off roadway techniques to aid the cyclist. It also demonstrates using the bicycle as a defensive tool and then as an offensive weapon against an attacker.

Bicycle Lock Personal & Property Protection – This video demonstrates defensive and offensive methods of using the long shackle bicycle lock for personal and property protection against armed and unarmed assailants.
