George Binzen and I on the lawn in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki Beach in 1945. I was on liberty there also. We just came back from Okinawa for repairs. I was at Hawaii 3 times.

Paul Wright, Ralph Potts

Left to right; Paul Wright, Ralph Potts. We were in boot camp together then served on the Nevada during the same time. Paul was in the FC (fire control). We lost contact with one another after boarding ship and being stationed in different divisions. Paul recognized my name off the Scuttlebutt web site. We were in contact via email. My wife and I were on vacation in Phoenix, which gave Paul and I the opportunity to meet one another when this picture was taken 01 – 01, 55+ years later after boarding the Nevada.
