Rituals

Daily poojas commence with opening of the doors of the temple and lighting the customaries lamps by 5 o’ clock in the morning.  3 time poojas are conducted with offerings and abhishekams at the main sanctum sanatorium of lord Siva and in the shrines of Lord Ganapathy and Lord Ayyappa.  Special poojas in “prodosham” which occur twice in a Malayalam month, various types of abishekams, mrithyumjaya homam, flower offerings etc are the main offerings conducted during rituals and routines
