10 minutes and 15km north of Calgary is the small city of
Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, with a population
of about 20,000 people. The
Airdrie Nutty Housewife League (NHL) womens
ice hockey team makes this fine city home.
April 7-9, 2000 are the tentative dates for the Airdrie
Nutty Housewife League Tournament planned to be played at
the Twin Arenas in Airdrie. Saturday night is a
dinner and entertainment.
The Rebels are considering a trip to Airdrie to show the competing
teams ice hockey can be played in sunny California.
Tournament Update:
It looks like the tournament has now gone officially to 12 teams,
and not only inter-provincial with teams from British Columbia as
