4th Annual Las Vegas Women's Hockey Classic

The 4th Annual Las Vegas Women's Hockey Classic is scheduled for the weekend of February 3 - 6, 2000 for its "Women's" Division. Games will begin no earlier than 7:00 PM on Thursday evening. Games will be played around the clock. Tournament will conclude by 3:00 PM on Sunday.

Tournament features:

- Luxurious accommodations at the first class resort hotels. 
- 3 game minimum plus playoffs at the best ice rinks and 
  arenas in town. 
- USA Hockey no-checking, no-fighting rules. 
- Many different levels of play to guarantee competition 
  against teams of similar ability. 
- Post-game refreshments served in your locker room. 
- Souvenir program for each player. 
- Complimentary tournament T-shirt for each player. 
- Championship and 2nd place awards in each level. 
- All-Tournament and MVP selection awards. 
- $75 discount for team organizers. 

Also, two ice rinks will be schedule for the 2000 tournamant as compared to the 1999 event. The Santa Fe Ice Arena and Las Vegas Ice Gardens are planned for games to be played out over three rinks between the two facilities.

Tournament Update:
The returning Rebels will be playing in the Novice - Green Division. Here is the current list, in alphabetical order, of the other participating teams in the same division as the Rebels.

Arizona State University She Devils 1,
Austin/L.A. Roadrunners,
Columbus Capitals 2,
San Diego Heartbreakers 3 and the
University of Arizona Wildcat Icers.

Recommended accommodations are:
Three hotels are participating in the accomodations with this tournament. Hotels offered for the 1999 tournament, the Santa Fe Hotel and the Luxor Hotel and Casino, are available again this year. Plus, new for the 2000 tournament, the Sahara Hotel and Casino.
