The Goldsteins	The Yees	Lyla's Cousins

	Valerie has a big family. She is the first Grandchild on the Goldstein side, and she is the 10th on the Yee side, but the next closest in age is 6 years old. The next closest girl is 18 years old! Valerie got to meet a lot of her family within the first month because most of her family is in the area. We also had a red egg party for Valerie when she turned one month old, and that was when Valerie's Aunt, Lai Ngor, and her Grandfather, Len and Grandmother, Hazel came to visit her. Valerie met a lot more Goldsteins in late February/early March. Valerie, Matt, and I took a road trip from Boston to New Jersey, to South Carolina, to Florida, back to South Carolina, to Virginia, and back to Boston. We did this all in 10 days. We did this because Valerie had not yet met her Great Grandmother in Florida, so it was a great opportunity to do so. Valerie did pretty well in the car; however, when we drove 3 days in a row, she pretty much had it, and she was very grumpy! Recently, Valerie was able to meet some cousins on Lyla's side in July, when they came to the East Coast to visit. They are from the West Coast, so Valerie got to meet her third cousins - the Lees and the Chois. Finally, in September, we took another road trip to Toronto, where Valerie met more cousins on Lyla's side - the Lees.
