A Note on Language & Spelling:

Because the Harry Potter series is originally British, I have decided to use British English for my fics instead of American English. Therefore you will see 'colour' instead of 'color,' and 'meagre' instead of 'meager' (in a lot of cases this may look like I've made a spelling mistake, but I can assure you that I've used a British spell check). This also means that I will be using the original names for everything instead of the changes made in the American editions, so I will refer to the 'philosopher's stone' instead of the 'sorcerer's stone,' and I will say 'sherbert lemons' instead of 'lemon drops.' For a complete listing of all the changes between the British and American versions of the novels, check out The Harry Potter Lexicon.
