When I first decided to create a snake familiar for Harry in Echoes from the Past, I started looking up pictures of different snakes to find one that I could see Zera as. It took a while before I stumbled across milk snakes and then the red milk snake, but I finally did. The two links below lead to the site where I found the picture that made up my mind. Since my e-mail asking for permission to post the picture wasn't answered I've decided to link to the site instead. The first link leads to a large picture of a red milk snake, while the second one leads to the milk snake page of the site.
