Best Arcade Game
Wetspot 2 (37.8%)

Monospace (32.4%) 2nd Place
What is said by many to be the definitive spaceshooter, Monospace was the technical masterpiece created by the late Milo Sedlacek. His Gradius-like space-shooter featured unreal 3D graphics nearly unrivaled even today by QB programmer's latest efforts, and it is still a force to be reckoned with in the battle for Best Arcade Game.
Mooncrap (2.7%) 6th Place
The simple arcade format of Mooncrap has made it an attraction despite the fact that gameplay is it's strength, not it's graphics. The cleverly designed enemy AI of this spaceshooter is reminiscent of Galaxian, Galaga, Mooncresta, and other vertical spaceshooters of video game history's almost forgotten past.
Spinball (10.8%) 3rd Place
Eric Carr Games dared to do the impossible by making a Sonic the Hedgehog clone using pure QB code. Yet the speed it delivers is excellent regardless of the condition of the system. That in itself is enough to warrant the game a spot in the nomination, but Spinball is also a solid action/platform unlike any other in QB.
Around the World (10.8%) 3rd Place
Take a wolf, throw him into a solid platform game with eight-way scrolling and DirectQB effects unheard of in QB, and you have TMB's Around the World game. This is the newest step in the effort of creating high-quality QB games.
Wetspot 2 (37.8%) 1st Place
With two-player simultaneous action and a command interface unparalled by any other game out there in QB, it is no wonder why Wetspot 2 hasn't been hated and loved by so many QB gamers. For better or for worse, this combination of Bubble Bobble and Pengo has exceeded the popularity of any other QB game. Period.
QB Invade (5.4%) 5th Place
QB Invade is one of the most popular Space Invader clones ever made in QB. It has been around since the days of Qbasic.com, and it's by a programmer who's practically taken every popular arcade shooter and implemented it in one shape or form in QB.
