Tom McPherson

The Vancouver City Singers are thrilled to welcome Tom McPherson as our new director beginning the 2005–2006 season!

Tom McPherson was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY), the Royal Conservatory of Music, and the University of Toronto. As well as serving as accompanist for Vancouver City Singers prior to becoming director, he plays for Richmond Chorus and is a staff musician for the North Shore Unitarian Church.

He also teaches piano privately, dabbles in musical theatre whenever he can, enjoys composing and arranging, and, as a sideline, he offers astrological insight for people seeking to understand themselves and their soul's path.
