The Minister of the River Ladon in Arcadia, Sir Vasilios Roumeliotis, Knight of Arcadia

I was born in Athens - Greece on July the 5th, 1973

My parents were born in two small villages by the river Ladon in Arcadia, my father's one is called Kalliani and my mother's one is called Doksa. The place is really beautiful so I escape from Athens whenever I can spending most of my time by my river.

I have studied Textile Arts in the Technological Educational Institute of Pireaus. I continued my studies and became a Multimedia Programmer. Now I work for the Greek Organization Against Drugs, as an Administrator in the IT Department. I speak English and some Italian.

Ancient history and archaeology, especially Greek, is what excites me most. I spend a lot of  my time reading Ancient Greek writers and searching for Historical ruins of our lost civilization all over Greece.

I am a member of the "Company for the friends of Hollow Earth" in Greece, a company created by the writer J. Giannopoulos.

Also a member of SETI@home, searching for extra terrestrial intelligence for over than  4500 hours.

My great love was always music: I 've been a Dj for four years in an Athens Club playing Indie and Alternative tunes and organizing parties with artists like The Orb, Aphex Twin, Inspiral Carpets, Salad etc.

Other hobbies can be found in Fishing, Swiming, Sports (fan of Olympiakos F.C.), Collecting coins and telephone cards.

I 've been a Ladonian citizen since the 27th of July 2003.

The Ministry of the River Ladon in Arcadia has been accepted by the Parliament of Ladonia on August the 8th, 2003.
