Eurovision 2001 Presenters and Venue
Mrs Natasja Crone (30) has previously presented the Danish Melodi Grand Prix and was a
a respected sports journalist in Denmark. Recently she covered the football world cup.
She has worked for DR since 1998.
Mr Søren Pilmark (45) is a popular actor and entertainer and a member of the Danish Royal
Theatre Company. He started his career appearing in popular TV series and films. His Pallesen
& Pilmark show (1983) won the Silver Rose at the Montreux TV Festival.
This year's Eurovision Song Contest is going to be held at the Parken Stadium, Copenhagen. The audience will be the biggest one in Eurovision history; an estimated 30,000.
Tickets were available as from 27th November 2000 : All tickets have been sold out but tickets
for the dress rehearsal on May 11th 2001 are still available
