WHAT IS WICCA

Witchcraft, or Wicca, is a religion. Wicca is not primarily about magick, though it is used. Wicca is about your place in the Universe and your evolution as a spiritual being. Wicca is about moving forward on your personal spiritual journey - about learning, growing, and becoming the most you can be.

Wicca is a religion. Wicca is a way of understanding and interacting with Deity and the Universe. It is a life-affirming path of growth and expansion.

Wicca is based on reverence for Nature and Her cycles, respect for the Earth and all Her creatures. Wicca reveres the natural forces of the Universe and sees them reflected in the world around us, and in every person and thing.

WHAT IS A WITAN SHRINE

a Witan Shrine is considered a formal body of the Tradition. A Witan Shrine is founded in the expectation of going on to become a Proto-Temple.

The Witan Shrine, can be formed under the imperium of a Third Degree sponsor approved by the Council of Elders; and some more formal rights are conferred. Some of these are:

+ Register and initiate people within the External or Internal Court
+ Realize events -public or private- in the name of the Tradition
+ Impart classes in all the Degrees of the Tradition (First, Second and Third Degree), as well as other courses.
+ Make formal and informal services that correspond to the Shrines (rituals, initiations, events, etc)

CORRELLIAN TRADITION

The Correllian Tradition is a syncretic and highly philosophical Tradition of Wicca, which stresses the inherent unity of all Pagan traditions and the synchronicity of all spiritual paths. We believe that Deity is in all things, therefore all paths can lead to Deity.

The Correllian Tradition is based around the idea that inner truth is universal in nature, but is expressed through many outer forms. Correllianism teaches that Deity comes to the person in the way that is best for that person, and which is unique to them.

Correllians believe that all things which live have a spirit, just as we humans do, and that all things which exist live. We believe in the concept of a living, spiritually sentient Earth, of which all of the Earth's eco-systems and creatures are components. We believe in the concept of a living, spiritually sentient galaxy, of which the Earth and other planets and stars are components. And the concept of a living, spiritually sentient Universe, of which all galaxies are components. In short that all of existence is living, and spiritually sentient, with the souls evolving from sub-atomic particles to galaxies and beyond, with our present human form as one step in this chain.
