Monologue
(Michael)
Strong,
athletic, and well-muscled, Monologue is determined to protect his twin
brother, Soliloquy, to whom he is deeply devoted. He loves performing for
an audience in any situation. He, his brother, and Illusion started the
theatre company.
Soliloquy
(Matthew)
Darkly pretty and seeming
to be his brother's shadow, Soliloquy was once called Lucifer, the fallen
angel. Often depressed, he is a bit of a loner, yet loves to perform. He
also takes over the office work for the theatre.
Illusion
(Elias)
Illusion hides both his
past and present behind a beautiful mask as pale as he is dark. It is as
much a part of him as any limb, and he only ever takes it off for Silence.
He is an old friend of the twins, and lived with them in the early days
of the theatre.
Tranquility
(Eamonn)
Tranquility is calm and
peaceful, and has the same effect on people. He prefers to do things slowly
and gently, and doesn't tend to rush.
Delicacy
(Alexander)
Subtle and patient, Delicacy
almost always gets what he wants. He is an artist as well as an actor,
and spends much time observing people. His favourite model is Narcissism,
and they are fairly close friends.
Cantata
(Ariel)
Cantata has a love of
music and singing, especially classical pieces. He is very talkative, out
going, and optimistic, and has the voice of an angel.
Blasphemy
(Christian)
Angry at the world and
all those in power, Blasphemy will speak against anyone who offends him,
especially someone omre powerful. He gets into trouble with the authorities
more often than out of it, but he respects Monologue and Illusion, and
obeys them well enough.
Onanism
(William)
Wealthy and recently-orphaned,
Onaninism funds repairs and maintenance for the theatre, which he also
purchased and donated. He is kind and generous, but very much a loner,
and prefers to keep to himself. He is closest to Narcissism, who he feels
understands him the best.
Ecstasy
(Jonathan)
Ecstasy is the ultimate
hedonist, fond of all things soft, sweet and pretty. He is open and friendly
with everyone he meets, but does not trust Malevolence at all, for obvious
reasons.
Apocalypse
(Brian)
Convinced that the world
will end tomorrow, Apocalypse is most definitely delusional. He believes
in living in the moment, and will try anything once, though most he doesn't
try again. He loves acting enough that he will practice despite his beliefs.
Narcissism
(Oberon)
Narcissism is completely
self-absorbed physically, but by all means wants to share the wealth. He
is trained in many forms of dance, and often puts on performances. His
closest friends are Delicacy and Onanism.
Silence
(Loqui)
Silence is a mute, yet,
strangely enough, knows little sign language, communicating instead through
gestures and writing. He is very pale and delicate, almost like a porcelain
doll. Although friendly, he sometimes falls into depression for no apparent
reason. He is closest to Illusion, who understands him and makes him feel
treasured.
Restraint
(D'eathe)
Restraint is into bondage
and the thrill that goes with it, but does not wish to cause pain. For
Sanguine, however, he will be a little rough. He and Malevolence were friends
and rivals from high school.
Malevolence
(Vincent)
For all appearances like
a classic mobster, Malevolence loves power, corruption, and causing pain.
He is manipulative, but knows when to bow to authority. His favourite is
Sanguine, but he enjoys chasing Ecstasy in hopes of corrupting him.
Sanguine
(Pierce)
Masochistic and submissive,
Sanguine likes Restraint and adores Malevolence, but will go to anyone
who will give him what he wants. He loves knives and often looks slightly
high, but is actually quite reasonable in most things.
Epilogue
(Paul)
Epilogue is cuddly, sweet,
gentle and loving, and generaly liked by everyone. He longs for complete
emotional intimacy and understanding, and enjoys spending time with Tranquility.
Obsequious
(Jervis)
Obsequious is very submissive
and ready to please, but can often be sarcastic. He prefers to be treated
like a pampered pet, and is very appreciative of people who will listen.
Vehemence
(Timothy)
Loud and moody, though
never quite violent, Vehemence takes offense easily and can only be placated
with complete submission. He wants to be in control, but does not like
to cause pain. Having learned piano from an early age, it is one of the
few things he truly enjoys, and is enough to keep him with the theatre.
Prelude
(Marcus)
Prelude comes across
as more than slightly strange with his purple theme and fuzzy bunny ears.
He likes to dance and enjoys simpler forms of physical affection, but is
less insistent about doing anything more serious. He is very open and friendly,
and likes to talk to people.
