In Search

I will search for you

I know that you
Will be searching too

I will watch for you
As I watch the day break,
The sun set.

I will listen for you
In the singing of the river,
The mating of the tree branches.

And if we keep our hearts open
Surely we shall pass through
The doors of loneliness
