C. We adore you, Christ risen, and we bless you.
T.  For with your Easter you have given life to the world.

1L. From the Gospel according to Matthew
The eleven disciples went to the hill in Galilee where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him, even thought some of them doubted.  Jesus drew near and said to them, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.  Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples:  baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And I will be with you always, to the end of the age" (28,16-20).

2L.  A gathering, a consignment
To be called upon is an honor.  To be sent is a commitment.  At every convocation a mission takes place.  And what a mission!  You will be mine.  You will act like me.  You will be me.
"Go.  Make people disciples".  Always.  Huge task.  Humanly.  Crushing, if you consider it on  man's shoulders.  It is not human energy.  It is divine-human synergy.  "I am with you", do not be afraid:  the Risen is the permanent Emmanuel.  Don't let your knees shake.  Rather, bend your knees:  pray the Lord of the harvest that you be courageous workers and that he send workers.  The tasks are different.  The only mission:  make Jesus' cause our own, what he lived for and offered himself for:  the Rein of justice, love, peace.
"The dead want mercy.  the Living want audacity," Primo Mazzolari used to say on the matter.  Go, everywhere.
Today more than ever:
Mission is a promise.
Mission is a bet.
Mission is courage.
Mission is adapting.
Mission is experience.
Mission is resistance.
Mission is openness.
Mission is the future.
Mission is novelty.
Mission is fidelity.
Mission speaks young.
Mission awaits youth.
Young missionaries of youth.  Everywhere:  in families, school, church, streets, on beaches, in clubs, on highways, on the virtual highways.
Evangelize:  new evangelization.   Evangelization, meaning, of the perennial new:  death is no longer the last word.  It's only the second to last.  Evangelization in a new way, a people with new problems, that are retraceable to four challenges:  economic, ecological, biologic, computers.  In this scene we must give the good news to all who wait, because today the heart keeps searching for happiness, which is eternal Love.

T.  Rejoice, Virgin Mother: Christ has risen.  Hallelujah!

C.  Let us pray.  Jesus risen, your promise comes as a comfort to us:  "I am with you always"  (Mt 28,20).   Alone we are not able to bring the least bit of weight with perseverance.  Even less to keep on our poor shoulders the weight of the world.  We are  weakness, you are strength.  We are variability, you are perseverance.  We are fear, you are courage.  We are sadness, you are happiness.  We are night, you are light.  We are a standstill, you are Easter.

T.
  Amen.
